My wife and I are starting to have some huge issues in our marriage. We’ve always gotten along very well but in the last few months it’s been particularly difficult. I blame summer for this! Summer came and we couldn’t stop arguing. It’s almost like the heat was sending us irritable and crazy. My wife keeps getting annoyed by my presence, and I keep feeling frustrated that she’s not giving me enough attention.
It doesn’t help that she keeps complaining about the temperature of the house. The house is always too hot and because she’s hot she wants me to leave her alone as I apparently bring more heat. I think she’s crazy. It’s not that hot! Everyday I am blasting the air conditioning, Beaumaris isn’t that hot of a suburb either! I do it because I want to keep her happy. I’m not hot. If anything, I’m finding the air conditioner too cold. This hot and cold debate has been the cause behind most of our arguments.
My wife had the air conditioning running for so long last week that it ended up breaking! I had warned her about exactly this but she had refused to listen. Now she’s just demanding me to get it fixed. Plus she’s back to complaining about the heat again! Honestly, I can’t wait for this summer to be over. It’s brought me nothing but complaints with my wife and friction.
For the last three days I have been preoccupied with trying to find where to get an air conditioning repair person. Armadale has heaps of heating repairs but no cooling repairs! I don’t get it. Can’t it just be one repair person for both? Why do we need to keep it separate? All I know is that I need to get this sorted as soon as possible because if I don’t, I’m going to have an angry and sweaty wife on my case.
I feel like I’m honestly praying for the hot days to be over so I can have my cool, calm and collected wife back.
