When it comes to your house, I think it’s safe to say that we spend more time fussing about the things we can see and look at regularly as opposed to the things we look at infrequently. I know I’m personally always trying to find new furniture to add to my home and am thinking of new ways to position the decor. I guess that’s because most of my time is spent inside my home, and I want my whole family to enjoy the environment they live in. Given that it’s been quite warm lately, I’ve been spending a lot of time outside with my family so we can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine in preparation for winter. Spending all this time outside has made me realise that we need to make some changes to the exterior of our home. For starters, I think we need to hire a fence painter because our fence line is looking extremely drab. The paint on most parts of the fence has peeled off or turned a really yucky brown colour. I’d never noticed it before. Well, I did notice it but I just never put that much thought into it because I figured a fence is just a fence and not that important. Now, whenever I drive my car up the street the first thing I notice is our disgusting looking fence.
I’m going to call an exterior painter. Melbourne has so many houses that look pristine and nice, particularly in my street, yet my house has been standing for probably months to at least a good couple of years with this unsightly fence! I can’t wait to get it repainted. My husband thinks I’m insane for suddenly fussing over the fence, but admittedly I’m one of those people who as soon as they get an idea their head can stop thinking about it until the matter is resolved.
